Christmastime! This is me over at Meijer Gardens...special shout out to my Aussie friend Brooke, who this pic is taken in honour of...I'm at the Australian tree, wishing you were here with me again this Christmas.

Aussie Xmas

Next, Tis that time of year again...Christmas cookie-baking time. I love to make my Grandma's favorite sour cream cookies...they are always a big hit. This year, my housemates went a bit wild and decided to give some of the cookies, um, personalities all their own. Here are the results...

This cookie couple fell in love...he's lovestruck, as you can see, and she's checkin him out totally!

This guy has some funky eyebrows going on...his name is Chuck...or was Chuck, I ate him. YUMMMMMM!

This set of pics is from a Christmas party I went to recently with my roommie Moriah...it was an international Christmas party...mostly Pakistani, Indian, Bengali, Sri Lankan, Malaysian peoples...etc. FUN TIMES, let me tell you. (too bad I didn't get a pic of the cute Malaysian guy there! ha!) I absolutely LOVE immersing myself in multicultural settings, and eating CURRY! YUMMMMMM...

Last and certainly not least...a picture of tollers and jack...tollers being highly detailed and tweaking/niggling/restarting as is customary...and jack being ever so contemplative, but with a cheeky grin waiting to let loose into laughter. (Shout out to the original Tollers and Jack, our "namesakes" - quite chuffed that your great books have swept the world via the big screen. Perhaps we shall follow in your footsteps someday.)

I am not even going to be girl-ish and take apart my appearance--rather, just comment that I love the yellow lighting in this photo. Like it was taken in 1952. (We must age like Aragorn.)

Wahoo, for the Australian tree in honor of Brooke! (hi Brooke, we miss you!)

Wahoo, for snowmen with personality! (Poor Chuck. Heartless Faith!)

Wahoo, for the South Asian Christmas party! (it'd been far too long since we'd done anything Asian together, Faith. Good times.) And wahoo for the thrill of running through deep snow in sandled feet! Weehee!

And, of course, a final "wahoo" for the joy of seeing Tollers and Jack together.

Wahoo for pleasures such as these! Thanks for posting these pics, Faith.
