Memories...
Last year at this time, my dear friend Brooke from Australia was here visiting. We had heaps of fun and this year isn't the same without her here. But I thought I'd post a few memories of the time we spent together.
Highlights that stick out:
~ her accent and just being together again
~ reading the Bible together in Kava House
~ ringing England and chatting with our TCH family
~ visiting Holland, Michigan on Christmas Eve in bitter cold...being the only ones on Windmill Island
~ Brooke scraping my car (the first time she's done that)
~ Going to Mars Hill's Christmas service, sitting there with old and new friends
~ Irish pub crawl :-)
~ Chicago for New Years
~ getting my nose pierced in a dodgy shop
~ watching Phantom of the Opera on the big screen (after having seen it on the stage in London the year previous)
~ memories of England
~ making Helen's delicious Chicken-Cashew stir fry and having friends over
~ visiting Bode's
(Brooke, am I missing anything?????)
