some pics....to go with previous post

Camping trip...don't we look cold? It was rather chilly...but oh so fun! Was that only last a week ago? seems like forever ago...
The "sojourners" pre-rafting...the crazy one in bare feet is John, who ended up falling into the river...brrrr. I'm not sure who had more sense, because all of us (well...besides Jim with the big boots) got wet feet. aren't our life-jackets sexy?!

Idaho (no udaho!)...this is me in front of one of MAF's training Cessna 206 aircraft.
gorgeous day, amazing scenery, but after about 30 minutes...i stopped taking pictures...take a wild guess why...bleh.
Here's a awesome shot from the flight I got to go on today. mountains all around. so beautiful. but I think I've determined that while I love little planes, I hate flying in them. My body doesn't agree with being jostled about like that. ugh. Been feeling nauseous the rest of today.
I got to see Joey and Suzanne, MAF missionaries to DR Congo. They leave next month for Africa. It was so great to see them again and share laughs and time together.
I'm hoping to go hiking and sightseeing tomorrow...and off to find some spuds and stargaze for the Big Dipper and whatnot...more pics to follow. :-)

Nice pics! I remembered when looking at the plane ones that if it's warm or very windy when you go up you're pretty likely to get sick, unless you have guts of steel, or drammamine (sp?), or both. ;) I think, if you're taking lessons, you earn "the right guts" with your private license. Like the Cessna. Glad to know MAF trains in good planes. ;)

Nice pics from the campout, too. Now I know what I was missing. ;)
