the praise we give
I've often admired little birds, contentedly pecking at the ground and chirping out a melody, or found great entertainment in the vast swarm of birds that loop and dart as one. I'll sometimes close my eyes to hear the rustling of the blowing leaves and the noises found in nature's normalcy. I stand transfixed by clouds and sky, at anytime during day or night, always changing and creating beauty to behold.I've often wished to be one of them...wherein the natural living out of itself, they declare the praises of God, in simply whisling a tune or painting a sunset or fluttering to the ground, by merely being and doing exactly what it was made for, the creation brings glory to its Maker.
And I, I struggle so...to choose the right thing, to praise my Lord. I get distracted, discouraged, weighed down by cares, tripped up by sin, and hide from my God-given ability. But, I recall someone saying, that because we are given the choice to praise or not to praise, the praise we declare, marred though our lives may be by sin, humanity's praise is more glorifying to God than even His creation which has no choice but to praise Him.
Still, I wish to be a bird, or a leaf, or a star...it'd be a lot easier. But, God has made me for Himself, and for today, I will struggle and choose to praise Him today. And long for the day when I will simply bring Him glory by being me...

God sings songs of rejoicing over you. He is happy that you are always seeking after Him...even if you stumble along as you do.
Oh that you would rest and rejoice and be at peace as you realize how high, how wide, how deep...is His love for you.
You definitely carry the Fraser love of nature. You will always be a beautiful child of Gods and he will always surround you in his loving arms. Feel his peace and contentment in your soul.
