up north
Horray for long weekends! My car is packed and I'm all set for a road trip, once I get my work done. I'll be heading to the north country, Northern Michigan, a place filled with my childhood memories. I'm excited mainly because it's not only beautiful and wild up there (and away from city life! yay!), but I'll also be actually doing something productive (and not just relaxing) and getting my hands dirty helping with Lake Ann Camp's Memorial Day work bee. Even though I've been various amazing places in the world, Lake Ann is still my favorite (Mam Tor, Castleton, in the Peak District is probably second). Lake Ann is one of those places that is so packed with the presence of God, either that, or it's a place where I am freed to be much more aware of Him. Looking forward to it greatly!
