I don't claim to be great, but my desire is to live well right where God has me today. It's been easy to deceive myself into thinking greatness is something "out there" that I define and pursue, when in reality greatness happens right here through living and loving well and looking back to see how great God has been to work through me in spite of myself.
Resting, Breathing, Enjoying Life, Loving Others, Being Fully Alive and Full of Joy, Having an Abundant Life, Making Space to Listen to God's Voice, Bringing Glory to Him by Enjoying Him - YES - These are my aim and pleasure!
Traveling, culture, change, communicating, being out-of-the-box - these things, though I'm passionate for them, pale in comparison to the ONE THING I desire to be about.

hmm.. good stuff! : ) it seems to me though that both of those articles were basically just a longer version of those scripture passages. they didn't really go any more in depth than exactly what it already said in the Bible. or maybe it's just me. *shrugs*
I didn't know you hung Watson's and Jim Wick's. It's a small world.
I'm sorry I wasn't at the Beanery when you stopped by. I would have liked to have seen you. They were right however I was in an accident. No one was hurt though. My car is still hanging out in Chicago, which is tough. I feel like a person without legs. =) It's so different being w/out a car here than it is in Sheffield. Maybe once I have a working vehicle again I'll come down and visit. I hope you're doing well. Praying for you ~M
