Colleagues make life interesting

I work in the radio business, with a variety of people not only those with MNN, but also a few other ministries that all work out of the same building (and outbuildings).

My office is in a trailer. I have a window that faces East and at this moment I'm being blinded by the sun and tears are squeezing out my eyes. Anyway, Topher is in the room next to mine, and he's provided great entertainment to my work environment. I'm not sure where he finds the music or funny sites or interesting factoids that he shares with me, but it's never a dull moment! Currently in the daily selection of music is Chumbawamba - a fun (and mad!) British band from Leeds...neighbors to Sheffield. Hilarious! Other favorite CD's include Norah Jones, George Winston, Pirates of the Caribbean, and (one I introduced to him) The Future Sounds of Gaeldom. Anyway, it's a very enjoyable work environment...though he will be moving elsewhere :-( when the rest of MNN moves into the trailer with me. That will be a sad day, when the music leaves my life. (But a good day for MNN-bonding). Bittersweet.

Also sad to say Chris was Topher's assistant, and helped a ton with the MNN-STMDB, but due to various things (see Topher's blog) he's no longer able to help. Chris sent me this funny website...absolutely awesome!

There's also my good buddy Kristin - She's from the trailer next door, and I'm SO thankful she's around because otherwise I'd go crazy! Actually, I think I'm probably already crazy. But oh well. We have good chats and relate on the same level (since we're the same age), and sometimes we look at each other when we're feeling out of place with a bunch of "old" adults and empathize. It's Kristin's birthday today too! So, Happy Birthday Kristin! :-)

Anyway, that's my blog today...work is good. People are interesting and fun! Glad I'm not alone in this! And now I must get to work!
