I guess this is a common conversation
So I had to laugh when I read Troy's blog today...it sounds a bit too similar to a conversation I had with my nephew about 2 months ago, as my little sister's wedding plans were buzzing in everyone's heads....whilst jumping on the trampoline with Dustin...
Dustin: Aunt Faith, when are you going to get married?
me (taken aback, laughing and thinking, "Wouldn't I like to know!"): Well, um, that's a good question, Dustin. I don't really know; it depends on when I find a man to marry who wants to marry me too.
Dustin (getting to the reason behind his question): Well, when you do get married, can I be your ring bearer like Darren (his brother) is Aunt Becky's ring bearer?
me: Yeah, for sure. I'm going to have all three of you boys be ring bearers in my wedding.
Dustin (wide eyed): You can do that?
me (laughing): Sure, it's my wedding; I can do what I want.
We continue jumping and I just laugh to myself of the innocence of his question (unlike many others who ask about that subject). I love my nephews!
