a fun in the sun weekend
Great weekend with family and friends.
highlights
* I saw the SUN!!!! After more than 2 weeks without it. Went for a long walk with my mom
* bowling and horsebackriding with the three cutest boys ever (see pics below)!
* late night movie-watching with my mom
* cuddling with my dad
* helping my mom find matching outfits to wear to her new job - laughing together about her inability to match outfits ("I would have never put those together...I never saw the green in that...I'm color blind...I'm so excited I have matching clothes for work now!")
* driving around in a minivan with three kids in tow (my nephews), feeling a little too much like a mother! Enjoyed, but it was a scary culture shock!
* bridal show with my roommate - got hit on by a dj from SNX
* late night chat with Kristin
* hanging with my bro and Eric and Kristin at Jimmy Johns - the best sub place ever! They had salt and vinegar chips/crisps (tasted like England)! :-)
* Rob's sermon (Jan 08, 2006) about Heaven "crashing into earth"...about building with things that last...about the fire of God as refinement rather than destruction...about not burying the gifts God has given...about the Pure Light of a Holy God being what exposes our darkness and brings judgment, merely by His presence. Listen to the message when it's available.
* My roommate Pam got a job!!!!!!! Today is her first day! YAY Pam!

Dustin's growing up...but he still likes to hold my hand...He didn't want to at one point in the day, saying "I'm too big to hold your hand." And I said, "Holding hands means you like someone; you're never too old to hold hands." Later on, he grabbed my hand as we were walking. I'm sure I was beaming with happiness.
They said, "Hey Grandma, take a picture of our bottoms!"
Silly boys! Not camera shy at all!

anyway...i haven't altered anything on my site, so don't know what the prob is. No idea what RSS is all about...enlighten me!
