will you go on a date with me?

I was busy at work when my work phone rang.

I answered: Mission Network News, this is Faith.

silence...

Me: hello?

voice: Hi, this is Dustin, will you go on a date with me?

Me: [laughing] I would love to go on a date with you! Where are we going?

silence...whispers..."Grandma, where are we going?"...whispers..."To a baseball game"

Dustin: To a baseball game.

:-) ahhh, I just love my nephew! Of course, my mother set him up to it! At least this one's a date I KNOW I'll really have a good time.

I don't claim to be great, but my desire is to live well right where God has me today. It's been easy to deceive myself into thinking greatness is something "out there" that I define and pursue, when in reality greatness happens right here through living and loving well and looking back to see how great God has been to work through me in spite of myself.
