Using the slang words for both noun and adjective to describe my upcoming weeks, things will be a whirlwind for me. The next three weekends, I'll be leaving the country. Ha...true, but it's only Canada. I enrolled in an intensive program for teaching English as a second language (ESL/TESOL/TEFL), and my class meets in Windsor, Ontario. It's called Oxford Seminars, and hopefully, 18 days from now, I'll have my certificate to teach ESL anywhere in the world.

During the next three weeks, my spring semester for seminary also begins, with two classes and their respective homework/reading added to my to do list.

And the first few days of February, there's a symposium at GRTS (my seminary) and my prof asked me to lead a workshop on "Mobilizing 20-somethings to Mission." So I have to prepare for that as well in the next few weeks.

Not to mention, I also will continue working as normal, well, almost...but putting in a good 35 hours each week.

I'll be driving over and staying with some friends in the greater Detroit area, and will be staying a couple extra days this first weekend to check out/help out with their ministry there, which I'm really excited about.

Yes, these three weeks will be "killer" and I hope I make it through and deal well with the difficulty of this crazy schedule.

But these three weeks will also be "killer" in that I am so excited and sense the significance of each of the scheduled things....getting certified in ESL, ongoing seminary education, checking out my friends' ministry, leading a workshop, and even working. Things of effective power and impact are happening...stuff's moving...

So, I may not have much time to post during these three killer weeks. Keep me in your prayers as God's moving me here and there and as I'm running all over the place. What a wild adventure! Hang on folks!

(btw, I thought the illustration for the slang adj for killer was great...and in fact, I know someone with a killer smile, but that's for me to know... hahaha)
