love

Feeling loved today...

A. I spent Saturday with my nephews...no better way to feel loved than by three little boys jumping, crawling, running all over me with their hyper-boyish lovableness! :-) So cute!

We helped tear down Kate and Curt's barn...

Zach - the man of cuteness
Look at that chubby cutie! He's walking now too!

Silly boys, and such boys!

B1. My dad bought me flowers (roses, which smell amazing!) and some cinnamon gummy hearts (which I have shared with colleagues and classmates alike...it's like manna, the bag isn't running out even though I've shared many!)

B2. And my mom who lets me talk her ear off with my ever-changing emotions and thoughts and hopes and fears, who never fails to encourage and believe in me.

C. My Grandparents (dad's side) sent a lovely email. Ever since before I was born, they have prayed daily for me (and everyone in our rather large extended family). And my Grandma (mom's side) and late Grandpa Fraser who give me support and encouragement and love.

D. I got to be a courier for Valentine's Day cards to Veterans at the Veteran's Home this morning. I brought them into the volunteer coordinator's desk, smiling and wishing happy valentine's day to those I saw on the way in and out. The lady who received the cards was overwhelmed with gratitude, which made me feel a bit awkward and humbled (I didn't make the cards, only delivered them). She said they have so many that they're posted everywhere in the building. It was rather exciting and a blessing to bring joy to others.

E. I got to chat online with my old friend Paul from England...remembered when we went ice skating and he sprained my ankle on this day a couple years ago. Fun times. Happy Memories.

F. Roommates - who took care of me when I felt ill this weekend and put up with me when I'm crabby and laugh with/at me in the course of life's adventures.

G. Friends - who encourage me with emails, calls, visits, kind words, convicting words, fun times, hugs, coffee runs, silly coversations, good times, serious conversations, dreams, hopes...

And God, most of all, and most faithful of all...who meets me right where I am and touches my heart with His unfailing love, drawing me back to Himself time and time again. So undeserved, so amazing.
