4.2 miles
Nothing strikes me as "deep-thots" to write about at the moment, perhaps because I am quite tired after thinking deep thoughts all weekend, and trying to adjust to the time change of Daylight Savings. Why do we do that anyway? So annoying.I walked around Reeds Lake Sunday, ran for about 1/4 mile, but then thought, you know, if I'm going to make it all the way around, I better just walk for now. It was beautiful, a refreshing sunny day, much company as many others were inspired to be out of doors in the springy weather. My legs are still a bit sore today, but it feels a great accomplishment to have gone out and done it. Shall make that a weekly habit. Oh, and it was pretty cool to have seen the lake from the air last week, then to walk around it this week...a whole scouting-out of various angles and perspectives, very fun. A good life-lesson's in that as well.
The last few days I've spent a large chunk of time learning more about Islam, through a class I'm taking and through a class visit to a mosque. Many thoughts are swirling in my head as I process the information and as God moves my heart to love them in Jesus' Name. Heavy and heartbreaking thoughts in the midst of it. Too much to briefly mention here, and more than I'd share on a public website anyway.
So the tiredness of my legs after walking 4.2 miles, corresponds to the tiredness of my mind from circling round and thinking deep thoughts recently too. Subdued, that is the description of me today.

can i just say......doesnt having the rest of the world in a different time RELY MAJORLY and COMPLETELY confuse ilinois colorado and alska??? i mean yer yer i know that the worlds al in different time zones anyway but like it adds to the alredy present confusion and people will think o il get to this plae in this state/county by this time bcuz the time changes this many hours....but then they end up coming 2 hours late/erly bcuz its only the COUNTY or the states gone mental!!!! o dear rite ok im proably rong it probly doesnt really make any difference and im just making the world a more rambling place....BYE
o yer btw...i think samuel has a blog on this blog website....not sure wat its called lol...i just "oversaw" it wile he was showing it 2 sum1 at church...lol u probably alredy knew that tho....so...if u did wats his name thing on it?
